Dialers are exclusively designed for commercial purposes. The key purpose of a dialer is to serve the vender and make him rich overnight by illegal dialing. Let’s have a quick look at what actually the dialer is:

What is a dialer?

Dialer is a special program, which is able to use host computer’s modem and generate a “dial up” connection through internet. Here, the connection is developed by a specified number. Such evil software is specially developed for using international phone numbers to make a connection without the consent of the internet provider. Dialers are quite similar and work for the same purpose. A dialer can easily manipulate essential settings of dialup and networking without your will. Yes, never open suspicious e-mails. There are various suspicious malwares that arrive through such mails. Dialers are one of those parasites.

Dialer removal and protection

A virus attack cannot be successful until or unless you do not have a patent anti-virus software installed on your system. Keep the virus signature up-to-date, as outdated signatures can help a dialer to invade your system easily.

If you are using cable or DSL internet, then remove phone cable from the modem and the system as well. Don’t take the risk of auto-dialers and stay safe.

Keep in mind that you should be well-aware of the type of sites you are visiting. If a site has huge number of pop-ups or banners, then try to avoid visiting such type of sites. Pop-ups are the major sources of bringing such decline onto your PC.
